The most deadly type skin cancer if the melanoma. Melanoma is a cancer that begins in the melanocytes. The melanocytes are the cells that produce the pigment melanin. It determines the color of our skin.
On the other side the common mole is a heaping of melanocytes. The most of the moles are harmless but sometimes the melanocytes in the mole turn into melanoma.
